Cause:
When users prepare the file for upload, if the format for the file is not .xls/.xlsx then the system will not allow to upload the file using the upload utility and will show an error message as invalid file format when the file is selected for process.
Remedies:
Users should ensure that the file format is proper and all the mandatory column values along with the column heading are entered uniformly in the file. Date field format and numeric field format should be used correctly.
If the error still occurs then users can copy the whole data, create a new file without formatting and then upload the file.
