No, the system does not allow transferring un-approved stock to an approved location. Similarly, transferring approved stock to an un-approved location is also not permitted. The system only allows transfers between approved locations.
When the material is received and QC is required to be performed on the item before it is used, system puts the same in un-approved type of location. When the QC order is approved the location automatically changed to approved type.
