How can we map transporter for distribution ?

To map a transporter against a customer in the distribution route master, follow these steps:

  1. Access SCM Settings: Navigate to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) module and locate the SCM settings.
  2. Logistic Setup: Within SCM settings, look for the Logistic Setup section.
  3. Distribution Route: Click on “Distribution Route” to access the distribution route configuration.
  4. Enter Route Details: In the distribution route header screen, you’ll need to provide the following information:
    • Description: Enter a descriptive name for the distribution route.
    • Customer Code: Select the relevant customer code.
    • Currency Code: Specify the currency code applicable to this distribution route.
    • Freight Amount: Input the applicable freight amount.
    • Station Code (From and To): Indicate the station code for both the starting and ending points of the route.
  5. Add Route Line Details: To complete the mapping process, add line details that include:
    • Station Code (From and To): Specify station codes for the transport route.
    • Transporter Code: Select the transporter associated with this route.
    • Freight Amount: Provide the freight amount for this specific route.
    • Transporter Mode: Choose the appropriate transporter mode from the available drop-down options.
    • Minimum and Maximum Case: Define the minimum and maximum case limits for this route.
    • Weight Information: Include weight information related to the transportation.
  6. Save Master Information: Once you’ve entered all the required information, save the distribution route master details.

After completing these steps, the transporter you’ve mapped will be available for use in the distribution flow, associated with the specified customer. This allows for efficient management of distribution routes and transporters for your ERP system.
