Cause: System will not allow to upload Pay Structure if the Pay Structure – Employee wise upload format sheet does not have reference type or transaction id. System will show msg ‘Invalid reference type’.
Remedies: Users should enter add the column header for reference type (Ref type) and Reference No. (Ref No.) with the corresponding valid values for ref type as Others/Transfer/Promotion Increment/Increment..etc and for Ref No also in the upload template file. Then the user should choose the upload file and manage the template by mapping the fields, and upload process.
