Suggestion: System has the provision to change the Indent data after Indent Approval. In Indent Amendment, User can change the approved Indent data. The indent can be re-amended to change the indent information again and again. Indent Amendment is to be done by authorized user only.
The values in the following columns can be amended:
Delivery Site, Accounting Site, Quantity, Purchase Rate, Required On, Maximum Rate, Priority, Preferred Supplier, Required By, Account Code, Cost Center Code, Work Order, Purchaser, Project Code, Specific Instructions, Special Instructions and Packing Instructions
For Indent Amendment go to SCM –> Purchase –> Indenting->Indent Amendment
Upon confirmation, the following changes are affected:
The indent amendment transaction is confirmed, then it cannot be edited further
The amendment details are updated in the original indent. All further checks, if any, are done against the new values
