Cause:
System shows the following error ‘Customer type not defined, The specified customer type is not defined in generalised master’ when customer type selected in customer master is invalid and does not exist in generalized master.
Remedies:
In Customer Master, Type of customer, can be Stockist, Institution, etc. Can be defined in the generalized master. Users should ensure that the record is properly entered in the generalized master and can also check for any leading space by editing the same and save the record.
