Suggestions:
Consumption order is used to consume material which does not get issued through the work order or BOM but are consumed from the Inventory.
A consumption order is created to initiate the Consumption. It is typically used for those materials like some packing materials.consumables
Consumption Order menu exists in SCM->Inventory-> Consumption
Users can enter the Consumption Order transaction in the following steps:
1) Select the order type from the values such as CS – EXPIRY STOCK OUT, PI – PROMOTIONAL ISSUE, SS – SAMPLE ISSUE.
2) Enter the delivery site
3) Enter project code if materials required against a particular project.
4) Enter the item series of the items which you required the materials.
5) Employee code gets set as login employee code.
6 )Users have to select the reason code from the pophelp values ( CS – EXPIRY STOCK OUT, PI – PROMOTIONAL ISSUE, SS – SAMPLE ISSUE).
7) Users have to enter required item code valid for the Item Series and quantity.
8) On Finish button this record can be saved
System displays the issue quantity after the consumption issue is generated. Tax amount set as zero and N/A. If rate has been entered by the user then amount is calculated as quantity * rate else set as zero.
Current status is set as pending, after issuing all materials against this consumption, status changes as closed and the record is not allowed to edit. Then the date of the status change is also set by the system.
