What is PDC Received?

Suggestion:
A post-dated cheque (PDC) as the name indicates is a Cheque in which a future date is entered. This means that the Cheque cannot be cashed until that day. Till that date of cheque, it remains a bill of exchange and it becomes cheque only on the date written on the cheque. Its popular name is PDC.
System has the provision to save a PDC Received screen in the following path: Finance ->Receivable->Remittance-> PDC Received.
PDC Received will be used to record the PDC’s received from customer. There is process screen available which will convert PDC in actual receipt transaction if date of PDC is current date
Here we can enter the following information in header Sundry type, Sundry Code, Amount Bank Code, Reference number and date. And Reference series and Ref number in the details.
Further this record can be confirmed and used in the PDC received to receipt process.
