In Vision there 4 types of Stock valuation methods are available that can be mapped to particular Item series asper the requirement

1.STANDARD – This stock valuation method worked on the actual rate at which the stock received. This method worked in both the case that is whether it is lot maintenance or item maintenance. For the item series like Finish goods, packing material, raw material and trading materials this method can be used for stock valuation

2.WEIGHTED AVERAGE ACROSS COST CENTRE – In this method the stock valuation is done on the basis of weighted average method based on the lot wise and the system update the stock rate across the all the cost centre. For the item series like Finish goods, packing material, raw material and trading materials this method can be used for stock valuation

3. WEIGHTED AVERAGE WITHIN COST CENTRE – In this method the stock valuation is done on the basis of weighted average method bases on the lot wise and the system update the stock rate within the cost centre. For different cost centre system will update rate cost centre wise. For the item series like Finish goods, packing material, raw material and trading materials this method can be used for stock valuation

4.MOVING AVERAGE BY ITEM – This methos is works where in the item master the stock option is by Item maintenance for the Series like Consumables, Stores and spares This method can be used for stock valuation.

As per your request, below is the working of FEFO and FIFO method in vision

NOTE –1) Item with Lot wise maintenance and track Shelf life (Flag will be YES): In case of Auto issues of material having lot wise maintenance, System is considering FEFO (First expired first out) method in issue transaction.

2) Item With Lot wise maintenance and no track Shelf life (Flag will be No): In case of Auto issues of material having lot wise       maintenance, System is considering FIFO (First in first out) method in issue transaction.
