Process Trail is a like process flow, or a sequence of events, used to trace the transactions that have affected the contents of a record.
For example, System has the provision to show the complete process flow of the Purchase record in receipt. Starting from Purchase order to Purchase voucher.
Users have to go in the side panel of the list/table/doc view screen, there is an Link’ option which show process trail of that particular record.
Or ‘Process Trail’ option is also available in the more options button of the particular record. Process Trail shows the transaction type (i.e PO, GRN,Receipt,Voucher. etc.), datewise sequence of the record. Date of creating and confirming the transaction along with the transaction id . It shows the user id which has done the transaction and confirmed the same. Please see the screenshot for reference.
