Yes, we can make changes /amend the order by using Sales order amendment. We can use Sales order amendment to create amendment to the existing ‘open’ orders. As in the case of order, amendment document is further used for posting and invoice. The order, if required, can be re-amended for any number of times but the order is always referred with it’s original number in all the transactions. System recognizes the latest amended information as the order information.
Sales order mendment exists in SCM-> Sales -> Sales Order-> Sales Order Amendment
Once the user enters the reference Sales order number for which the amendment is currently been carried out, then all the header data gets populated. In details when the order line number is entered the item details gets populated. Users can also add items in item details.
Users can save and finish the admendment and confirm the same for further use.
