Cause:
QC transfer option is used to transfer the material from one quarantine location to another or for any other use before it is approved.
System shows the following error on QC transfer ‘QCTRFLOC, Invalid location, location should not be usable’ when the users have entered an invalid location in the ‘transfer to’ field. Or QC order is done from quarantine location to Approved location.
Remedies:
The system allows transferring the material under QC from one logical
location to another and must be of type quarantine, therefore users should check the transfer to location is correct. And users should ensure QC Transfer is for unconfirmed QC Orders only.
Users should ensure QC Transfer is done to only quarantine / unapproved logical locations. Also, the system will not allow the source logical location and the destination logical location to be the same.
Users should ensure the item details data is correctly entered such as lot number and lot sl before finishing the QC transfer.
