Proteus Vision ERP maintains a stringent standards to maintain consistency of the data based on which business decisions are taken. To ensure this every transaction must be reviewed and confirmed before it is considered as a valid entry of the system. Before the transaction is confirmed it is stored in the system as a draft entry and practically considered as if it is does not exist in the system. This is applicable to each and every entry in the system. There is confirm button available and vision to user who has rights on all the transaction screen.
It is a recommended practice to ensure that the person who does the entry is different from the person who is performing confirmation in the system. This concept is also known as maker and checker principle. User rights should be assigned for various action of a transaction to ensure that this practice is enforced. A role based workflow can be configured to for multiple role and user performing confirmation for important transactions.
