Suggestion:
System has provision to create a PO against indent reference, the indent number must be specified in the PO lines else system will not be able to link the order to the indent and may provide in-correct indent status. Even if there is an indent for an item, the system allows ordering items without referring that indent. In this case, however, a warning is displayed while ordering such items.
However, System will not allow to create Purchase order against indent for item which has ‘require quotation’ set to ‘yes’ in item master
