Cause:
The system will not allow you to confirm the Sales return transaction when there is an invalid tax calculation or tax is not calculated for line items. System will show messages ‘UV_TAXMIS’, ‘Tax mismatch!’, ‘Mismatches of taxes between order and receipt’. Sometimes when a line item is added taxes are not set and hence for these line items tax does not get calculated.
Suggestions:
In Sales return, In item details, Tax amount gets calculated by the system, by applying tax. If ‘Tax mismatch!’ error occurs on confirmation then users should check and ensure that all the line items have the taxes populated. Users should also ensure that the Tax amounts are re- calculated for the line items accordingly. Then we can finish and confirm the Sales return.
